First good to meet you last night.
And so liked the video and the web presence.
Would like to meet with you, and learn more of your own vision for the youth not just in Santa
Cruz County. That site for you to visit is a new
initiative from YSA and called: Geturgoodon.org
As just learning of Grind Out Hunger this morning like the idea. Not sure if even there are
food banks in Mexico. The meeting was a first
step and so liked the presentation in regard to
social networking.
Look forward to your insights and learning more about your plans for your project.
We spoke and I shared the simple idea of a
"bottom up" youth initiative: Youth Power!
with you...lack the needed skills and so need
like me...volunteers.
One idea to which I would like to explore with you is a plan to bring a skate board park to the
target region. Not sure of the how...but understand they had or have a skateboard union
in SF.
By the way in the old days the Gang of 36 so rebuilt the SC downtown...Perhaps a future
Gang For Good! can so rebuild the lives of such
youth now headed for jail and prison.
Liked the pictures, and the possibilities of our
first conversation.
I will so also go to your linkedin...that key team
in place in Santa Clara.
At the National Hispanic University
www.nhu.edu
Many possibilities ahead.
Shared a web site to which is not mine but that
of a national youth activism friend. Her #
1-800 KID POWER
Wendy is a great resource and might have some
insights for you and your project.
I have a web presence for the future but lack the
skills to so create:
www.nationalyouthunion.org
and www.grupoamistad.org
